V.U.C.A. Grotesque

The final, digitized, result of the third semester’s research (see below) started in early 2009. Development of my first sans-serif typeface — working title Accidents Grotesk — based on a reinterpretation of the classical geometric Futura ‘a’.
Like it’s name says the font is Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous — an ambitious experiment,

finished and released to reality at an early stage
to get constructive critique quickly; I designed the whole first issue of the Better Mjstakes magazine with it, the V.U.C.A. magazine and other material such as the posters for the Interview Installation.
